Canvas wrap winner at Bridal show!

Who knew doing a bridal show could be so much fun??

We were part of the St. Louis Best Bridal show at Ameristar in St. Charles yesterday, and had just a few moments of quiet to take this picture of our set-up before they opened the doors and let all the people flood in.   After that, it was non-stop till four in the afternoon and Jackie (who was a great help) and I met many brides and friends, every one of them gushing with excitement about their upcoming special day.

This is our second bridal show in St. Louis and it's certainly a great way to get the Love and Life Photography name out to people in the community.  It's also a great way to hear (a lot, very quickly) about what new brides are looking for.  As we did at the first show, we had a drawing for a 16X24 canvas-wrap type print and thanks to all who entered the contest.  The winner was Susie Phillips who will be married in September of 2010, and she'll get her favorite wedding or engagement image printed on the canvas wrap for free.

There were lots of fun things to do at the show.   For example, there was a travel company just opposite us with a "money booth", in which people get inside a cabinet for a few seconds and try to catch as many of the dollar bills flying around as they can -- very funny!   There were some people who were pretty good at it and were coming out of the booth with armfuls of the stuff!

I hope to meet you at a future show -- I think our next one will be in June, but I'll post the exact date as soon as I know.

Many thanks to Steve and Christopher from St. Louis Best Bridal and thanks to my wife Jackie for all her help in getting things set up on time and helping talk to the people all day.   And thanks to everyone who came out to see us -- we enjoyed meeting you all!
