Peli and André used to live right across the road from each other in Maryland, and they had only spoken once (I think Peli told me it was about an Avon order) before she moved far away to South Carolina.
Once settled in SC, she called him to follow up on the order and she said "something magical happened on the phone line" -- the next thing they knew, they were calling each other all the time. Now, Peli is moving back to Maryland to be Mrs. André Woods.
André is one who obviously likes life to be fun and makes it so! I think I saw him smiling through the entire ceremony and laughing all the way through the reception. I also saw him steal the dinner plate out from under his son, Cameron (don't worry - he gave it back) and dance at least once in a manner I can only describe as "Ellen-esque"! But, you could tell that he also has a warm heart. He obviously loves Peli very much and after the first dance, surprised her with a written, framed dedication to her, which he read in front of the whole crowd. I don't think that Peli's married life will be dull at any time...
Anyway, just poking fun. I wish Peli and André all the best and thanks, guys, for inviting me to your big day.
Oh, and pay attention to that Avon lady next time...
