Terry (called "Bear" by his family) and Marjorie took the unusual step of having no groomsmen or bridesmaids at their wedding.
I say unusual because, as the photographer, part of your job is usually trying to pose the wedding party and fit them all into the shot! But, with just Terry and Marjorie, we could do some special one-on-one preparation shots and portraits in the gardens around the hotel where they were getting ready.

The ceremony was in a small church well-lit by large windows, which allowed us to cut down or eliminate flash lighting and made the ceremony images much more interesting.

Although there were no bridesmaids or groomsmen, there were three adorable flower girls who made for some cute and different shots throughout the day.

At the afternoon reception, people offered their advice to the new couple on small notes which were read out to the crowd -- some were profound and some were funny.

Marjorie and Terry: thanks for the opportunity to be at your big day and best wishes for many happy years together.
