Murad and Teresa

Murad waited a number of years before he popped the big question to Teresa, but you could tell they were deeply in love and ready for their big day.

The fabulous Sheraton Columbia, in Columbia, Maryland, was a great venue for their wedding and celebration -- the ceremony was held in the late afternoon on the patio outside and candles added a nice warm glow to the fading daylight.

The grounds around the hotel are very photogenic with wooded areas, pathways and bridges over streams, a small lake and a pier close by. Once the ceremony was over, we had to work quickly to get portraits of the newlyweds as the sun was disappearing fast.

Then it was time to part-ay down! Teresa's side of the family has Polish roots and the reception was colored by ceremonies and dances from that background -- including a rather colorful hat for Murad (see below).

Everyone was having a great time as you can tell by the the smiles and laughter. Thanks go to Murad and Teresa for allowing us to be a part of your celebration and I'd like to wish you much joy and happiness for many years to come!
